A dedicated and experienced dental leader, Dr. Richter pursues many hours of continuing education and training each year with leading post-graduate dental programs staying at the forefront of the best procedures, technology, and practices in dentistry.
Dr. Richter attended Indiana University earning his B.A. degree and his D.D.S. He has over 25 years of experience with countless member affiliations including the American Dental Association. He participates in dental study clubs focusing on diagnosis, treatment plans and solving complex dental cases, offering advice and mentoring to other dentists in the community. Dr. Richter has held officer positions at the state and national level for the dental industry, including state President.
We welcome Dr. Michelle Cannon. Originally from Richton Park, IL, Dr. Cannon attended The University of Iowa, College of Dentistry and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2009.
Throughout her years practicing, she has enjoyed a successful career as a general dentist, developing her abilities and practicing throughout the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana.
She is excited to join Richter Dental to work alongside Dr. Richter. She is looking forward to making new patient relationships and delivering the best possible treatment.
Dr. Cannon has completed numerous hours of continuing education and can complete entire smile rehabilitations, so that patients can maintain their teeth, smile and ability to chew and “function” for a lifetime.
When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, grabbing a bite to eat, fun gatherings or just relaxing with Netflix. She loves the outdoors, is an avid animal lover, has a 15 year old rescue cat and looks forward to volunteering at a local humane society a few times a month.
